The kids wake me up around 6.30. I take them to school and do some grocery shopping. This is my daily ritual. Same thing every weekday, every week. By the time I can get down to work, it’s already around 10 or 10:30. I usually start out with some paperwork. The afternoons can get really busy depending on the piece I am working on. I may need to do some studio work or purchase raw materials.
Unfortunately, I have little time to listen to music. I normally do it while driving, working or cooking. I have a fairly broad taste in music.
None. Though I used to think I had some. I used to have favourites but when I reread them, I found they were not so definitive any more, or that previously less important books had jumped to the top of my list. I have recently reread The Master and Margarita and made me hungry for reading some short stories.
None. I’m not much of a traveller, especially not as a tourist. I do travel but those are business trips. There are some cities I like but I am not planning any exotic journeys.
Kisvásárhely is a really nice place and I keep going back there a lot.
Restaurants are okay every now and then but after a while they can get boring. I like cooking and I’ve been told I’m a good cook.
I rarely read any magazines and even when I do I read mostly professional ones like Artforum.
The ones that don’t look good on me.
It varies. At times I would have welcomed, and even tried to provoke, their advice. Nowadays I prefer discussions. But whenever I have some technical issues I talk to someone who I think could help me.
It’s always the one I am working on.
No one that comes to mind right now. There are obviously many such people. If I had something more to go by, then I am sure I could come up with quite a few. But right now there’s no one I could pick out.
Obviously quite a lot of people. But I could not name any one person. Of course, I had teachers and friends who influenced me. I generally liked being around older people.
My advice is not to take advice from anyone.
Good question. I need to think about that. I used to have some and still have a few but I know I will finish them some time. They keep coming back, get me involved again, and then I finish them.
