I don’t have any rituals. I just take my daughter to nursery school.
Just like with books, I can only say that I’ve been listening a lot to Bach’s chorale from Cantata No. 147 for our latest play.
There are so many books that have left a deep impression on me that it would be difficult to single out just one. The most recent book I read was Death in Venice.
The Dolomites.
Restaurant.
The Internet.
The German magazines Tour and Road Bike, though it’s more a case of looking at the pictures since I don’t speak German.
I like dressing well, but I don’t have a favourite item of clothing.
I’ll wear anything on stage, but I’m not so brave in everyday life.
I like pretty much equally all 18 plays that I’ve written and directed, with the exception of three, but my favourite is usually the most recent piece, which currently is Week 42.
Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky, Bulgakov, Thomas Mann, Bunuel, etc – just to mention a few names.
Mostly the above people.
I’m reluctant to give advice, because I can still remember that when I was younger I didn’t listen to anyone.
